Hi, this is my GSXR 1000. I purchased this bike new in 2003 and I have loved every mile I have been able to ride this bike. I have ridden dirt and street for 40 years, but I can no longer ride in the dirt. So I stick strictly to the street now.
A little over a year ago a good friend of mine did a track day at Button Willow. I knew I was going but did not have the gear. I had a two piece leather suit, but did not zip together. So I had to purchase a one piece. I called my friend Dale Walker and he recommend Z Custom Leathers. So I gave them a call and made and appointment to go in and get fitted. It took about five weeks and then I got a call they were ready. Went in and picked them up and they fit great. So now I had the gear and the bike for my first track day. I will tell more in my racing page.
With that in mind, this site will go through what I have done to my bike so far and what I feel about the performance. That I have taken the next step and got back into racing, road racing that is with WERA.
